Refund & Cancellation Policy

Datameris Launchpad (a brand of Datameris IT Solutions)

Last Updated: 31 July 2026

This policy applies to all mentorship programs offered by Datameris Launchpad, including current and future programs under this brand.

1. Registration / Booking Fee

  • The booking fee paid to reserve a seat in a batch is non-refundable once paid, except where cancellation is requested within 48 hours of payment and at least 7 days before the batch start date — in that case the booking fee is refunded in full.
  • Outside this window, the booking fee is forfeited if the student withdraws before the program starts, but it can be adjusted against a future batch (see Batch Transfer, Section 4) at Datameris’s discretion.

2. Full Program Fee (One-Time Payment)

  • If the full program fee is paid upfront and the student cancels before the batch start date: refund of the full amount minus the non-refundable booking fee.
  • If the student cancels after the batch starts: refund is prorated based on completed months, minus the booking fee and a flat 10% administrative charge on the total fee. No refund is issued after 50% of the program duration has elapsed, regardless of attendance.

3. EMI Payments — What Happens If a Student Drops Out

This is the part students ask about most, so here it is in plain terms.

If EMI (Equated Monthly Installment) is collected directly by Datameris Launchpad (in-house EMI):

  • Installments already paid are non-refundable.
  • If a student drops out during any month, they are not required to pay remaining future installments, provided they submit a written dropout request to Datameris.
  • No refund is given for the installment(s) already paid for the month(s) attended, even partially.
  • Example: A student pays Month 1 + Month 2 EMI, then drops out in Month 2 → Months 1–2 fees are kept by Datameris, remaining months are not charged, and there is no cash refund for Month 2.

If EMI is processed through a third-party financing/NBFC (Non-Banking Financial Company) partner:

  • Datameris Launchpad has no control over loan repayment obligations the student holds with that lender.
  • The student remains liable to repay the lender per the loan agreement even after dropping out, unless the lender’s own policy states otherwise.
  • Datameris will inform the lender of the dropout but cannot cancel or reduce the loan on the student’s behalf.

Datameris will specify which EMI model (in-house or third-party financing) applies to your program at the time of enrollment.

4. Batch Transfer Policy

  • A student may request a one-time transfer to a later batch (same or equivalent program) if the request is made at least 7 days before the current batch start date, subject to seat availability.
  • Transfers requested after the batch has started are allowed only for genuine reasons (medical emergency, relocation, etc.) with supporting documentation, and are approved at Datameris’s discretion.
  • Only one transfer is permitted per enrollment. A second transfer request will be treated as a cancellation under Section 2/3.
  • Founding Cohort or discounted pricing is batch-specific. Transferring to a later batch may mean paying the price applicable to that batch, not the original discounted price, unless Datameris waives this.

5. Non-Refundable Items

  • Certification/exam fees already paid to third-party bodies (Google, Meta, HubSpot, Semrush, Microsoft, etc.) once issued.
  • Any bonuses, goodies, kits, or perks already delivered.
  • Discounts, cashback, or referral credit applied at enrollment.

6. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation

  • Email: contact@datamerislaunchpad.com with your name, batch, enrollment ID, and reason for cancellation.
  • Refunds, where applicable, are processed within 7–14 business days to the original payment method

7. Force Majeure

Datameris Launchpad is not liable for delays or session cancellations caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control (natural disasters, government restrictions, technical outages, etc.). Sessions affected this way will be rescheduled, not refunded.
